Holy macaroni what a diesel-scented evening it was at the new Biljardkompaniet yesterday when Bullet and Going To Hell In A Chevy played. Biljardkompaniet’s new venue are bigger and they can take in more audience at concerts and there with bigger artists.
Tonight’s two acts are nothing to write a whole novel about, but it was full of action from the first moment to the last note.
There are bands that try to be heavy metal and it just gets embarrassing and then there is Bullet. They are HEAVY METAL to 666%. They radiate joy and heavy metal with such authenticity that you can’t do anything but enjoy watching them play. Such a band should be experienced live, nothing else.
GTHIAC is an experienced band, you can hear it. The songs from the self-titled EP do fantastically well live.
The two drummers Gustav Hjortsjö in Bullet and Rikki Dahl in GTHIAC did a damn good job. They played quite similar drum sets, rock n roll style of course and had a good drive and groove. Mr Hjortsjö showed a bit more and flirted eagerly with the audience who were on the notes.
The concert gets 6.66 out of 5.
