What a night it was at the Malmö Festival yesterday when there was metal in the hard school.
First up on the Rockstage was a new band with many years of experience. High on Blood with Nicklas Grabowski behind the drums played oldschool death with finesse and I can’t wait until they have released an album.

The next band needs no further presentation as old in the game as they are. Darkane with Peter Wildoer at the drum kit plays their fast mix of trash, speed and a bit of death.

To end the night there was a lot of fire, smoke, skulls and rituals when Watain took the ‘Stora Scenen’ at Malmöfestivalen.
It’s a monstrous event that no one will forget in a hurry and Emil Forcas (Svensson) behind his well-used Pearl keeps the pace to this mighty black metal.
A few hours before the concert, yours truly interviewed Emil, which will be published in some form later.
